Adapt FSD (Supervised) for the UAE market and validate system performance in preparation for product release in the region.

Innovative Aspects
  • Using neural networks trained on billions of miles of driving data, Full Self-Driving (Supervised) intelligently and accurately completes driving maneuvers including route navigation, steering, lane changes, and parking under the supervision of the driver. When enabled, the system will drive almost anywhere under the driver’s active supervision, requiring minimal intervention. FSD (Supervised) takes care of the most stressful parts of daily driving while helping to make roads safer for the driver and others.
     
  • Tesla vehicles are equipped with exterior cameras that enable 360-degree visibility, plus safety features powered by the same technology as our the Project’s FSD software to help reduce the severity of accidents or prevent them altogether. Over-the-air software updates ensure each Tesla vehicle has access to the latest safety improvements.
     
  • As FSD (Supervised) technology continues to advance, we get closer to making a fully autonomous future possible.

Regulatory Challenges

Recent efforts to expand the reach of FSD (Supervised) have shown that the technology can be rapidly adapted and applied to new environments. However, a key regulatory challenge in the UAE is the evolving legal framework for autonomous vehicles.
